Melbourne researchers have identified an immune protein that has the potential to stop or reverse the development of type 1 diabetes in its early stages, before insulin-producing cells have been destroyed.
Professor Len Harrison explains the discovery that the immune protein CD52 is responsible for protecting the body against excessive immune responses, and could be used to treat, or even prevent, other immune disorders such as multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Founded in 1940, and opened to the general public in 1970, the American Diabetes Association says their mission is to prevent and cure Diabetes. However, their Official Guidelines, and food recommendations, seem to be doing the opposite.
52.3% of U.S. adults are now either diabetic or pre-diabetic, over HALF of the adult population! It seems the ADA is failing miserably at their mission. Should we blame this terrible statistic on the sloth and gluttony of the average U.S. Adult, or should the A.D.A. take the blame?
Here is the “Super-Foods” list actually recommended to diabetics on the A.D.A. website: http://www.diabetes.org/food-and-fitness/food/what-can-i-eat/making-healthy-food-choices/diabetes-superfoods.html?loc=ff-slabnav . 6 out of 10 of these “super-foods” will immediately raise a diabetics blood sugar…
Here are 2 videos by Dr Sarah Hallberg revealing what actually works for diabetics and their blood sugar:
Please don’t blindly believe me, or Dr Hallberg. Every diabetic should do their own learning and research into these important questions, and decide which diet will keep their blood sugar and A1c lower, and which diet will decrease the risk of diabetic complications.
I realize I might incur financial and/or professional risk by posting this video, but…
DIABETICS DESERVE A NORMAL A1C, AND A LIFE FREE FROM DEVASTATING DIABETIC COMPLICATIONS, so I eagerly take the risk.
